From the outside it looks like any ordinary canvas mask. But in it is hidden a mini system of a small exhaust with two pipes. With the help of them, instead of bouncing off the mask and inhaling back again, the carbon dioxide goes into the canvas cushions.
“Air is normally inhaled through the nose and exhaled through these two channels in the air pockets. You can neither receive nor transmit the virus from anyone. “The problem we have had so far with ordinary protective masks is that the air is blown between the mask and the face and then part of that air is inhaled,” said Mirko Uzelac, pres. of the National Association of Innovators of Macedonia.
